Augustine Kofie’s “Working An Angle” at KNOWN GALLERY

AUGUSTINE KOFIE creates incredibly rad abstract paintings that appear to the viewer as mystical plans for some yet unknown form of architecture. They are the kinds of works that can get anyone stoked about art – from young kids to serious buyers. And so it was really cool that the gallery had several prints available from the artist as well as originals, in order to introduce price points that almost anyone could afford. Not to mention that the prints in this show were some of the finest I’ve ever seen, came in a an edition of only x/3, and looked like they were of as high a caliber as their pricer neighbors. Augustine Kofie is truly a magnificent talent whose work will never stop amazing me.
