Anthony Ausgang-If You Meet...

The artwork for The Karma Underground‘s “Oh Brother, Where Art Thou” benefit expresses a wide variety of styles and subject matter, from Anthony Ausgang’s Pop Narrative and Max Neutra’s Pop Surrealism to Matthew Heller’s line drawings and Brandon Boyd’s water colors and Mark Dean Veca’s strong graphics. These and works of over thirty other artists will be on sale at TKU’s opening night benefit on August 8 at Angel City Brewery, which will also feature Hit+Run doing live screen printing, plus music from music from Alfred Hawkins and Coleman.

The $10 suggested donation, proceeds from the auction, and $1 from each beer sold will go to Tibet House U.S., dedicated to preserving Tibet’s unique culture at a time when it is confronted with extinction on its own soil. By presenting Tibetan civilization and its profound wisdom, beauty, and special art of freedom to the people of the world, Tibet House U.S. hope to inspire others to join the effort to protect and save it. The Karma Underground–a dedicated group of art-centric Angelenos: artists, photographers, filmmakers, writers, and event producers–support the people of Tibet and their goal of remaining a unique and unified culture.
