Photos & Video: Krampus Art Walk, a Los Angeles First!

The celebration of Krampus continues! A dozen of Dark Yule Lords invaded the Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk, carrying switches and dragging naughty  maidens in chains, led by St Nicholas, and accompanied by an oompah-pah-pah band. Beginning at the DTLA Art Walk Lounge, the troupe and about a hundred followers trundled and lumbered down the sidewalks, stopping at red lights and staying within the crosswalks.

The horned horde paused for photos and to occasionally wield branches and horse hair whips at the art walk denizens before returning to their lair to plot their devilish designs for Saturday’s “Naughty or Nice” Krampus Art show at Copro.

Kampus waits.

 Another Krampus begins his decent into the mortal world.

Into the streets.

Actor/musician/author/director Steve Moramarco gets in the spirit.

So does  a Krampus neophyte.

Bless you my children, for you have all sinned.
