Save the Date: HAPPY PLACE Pop-Up Art Installation in the Arts District – November 20th, 2017 through January 7th, 2018
Get your Happy on at the HAPPY PLACE, an immersive art experience in our neighborhood of the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District.
Located in a 20,000 sq. ft jumbo-size building (formerly MAMA Gallery), there are thirteen multi-sensory rooms, interactive art installations, and all kinds of things designed to bring out the happy in everyone.
From climbing a giant birthday cake, to dancing in the world’s largest confetti dome, and jumping off a rainbow into a pot of happiness, their team of specially selected and trained Happy People will guide you through each unique room to ensure you get the ultimate Happy Place experience, along with a variety of fun treats.
Highlights include: Candy Room, dedicated to your sweet indulgences, featuring 7-foot tall high heels made out of over 1 million candies. In a nod to California, the Paradise Room will showcase one of a kind sculptures sprouting from the walls and floor via the imagination of renowned artist, Steven Harrington. The world’s largest indoor Confetti Dome will give guests the chance to twirl around while surrounded by half a million pieces of confetti and the HAPPY PLACE backyard will include a lemonade stand (set to donate net proceeds to charity) amongst a popsicle truck, classic lawn games hang-spot and retail store centered around a retro RV. The HAPPY PLACE’s very own food truck’s specially crafted menu will feature a variety of delicious Happy themed items including Rainbow Grilled Cheese to make sure your stomach is also smiling!
