fA.S. Ashley is featured in a solo show at District Gallery, where her fantastical and mesmerizing paintings, shrines, sculptures and assemblages all in the theme of animals can be viewed. Among the fan favorites and new pieces, gallery visitors will be able to witness the glory that is a real chocolate bunny. As in, the kind of chocolate bunny you don’t want to put in your mouth. Also on view is Mr. Lucky and his vast collection of rabbit’s feet, and tributes to all kinds of furry, feathered and scaled critters, real and imaginary.

The District Gallery is  open Tuesday through Sunday from 1:00-5:30 p.m. and is located in the Arts District on E. 3rd street near Traction. There’s street parking if you can take a minute to look for it, but the gallery is also just a couple blocks away from the Little Tokyo Metro Station.
