Join us as we explore a labyrinth of vibrant murals in the alleyways of Historic Filipinotown with Cindy Schwarzstein, founder of Cartwheel Art Tours and Jason Ostro, curator of the Gabba Art District alley project.
Over 100 murals canvas the alleyways, stairways, dumpsters, gated fences, and garage doors of Historic Filipinotown. Known as the Gabba Art District, this dynamic neighborhood has attracted emerging and well-known street artists from across Los Angeles and around the world.
Join Cartwheel Art Tours founder Cindy Schwarzstein on a trek through the alleys of the Gabba Art District with curator and Alley Project founder, Jason Ostro. Beginning and ending at Gabba Gallery, we’ll meet several of the artists, learn more about the history of the project, and discover how it’s transformed the community.
