Join Cartwheel Art Tours founder Cindy Schwarzstein for a customized walking tour that combines elements of her Underground L.A. and Art and Artisans tours. We’ll view evocative murals above and below the streets of Downtown Los Angeles and have private access to a defunct, former, underground speakeasy that’s not open to the public. There we’ll see old murals, one of which is rumored to be a map showing the way to illicit underground bars, while others show some of the tunnels that bootleggers used for smuggling alcohol during Prohibition!

Then, we’ll redeem our souls and raise a glass to spirits past and present with a batched cocktail and guided tasting of Redemption Whiskey! Rye was the #1 spirit in pre-Prohibition America and Redemption is leading the Rye Revival with rye-forward whiskeys modeled after their pre-Prohibition ancestors. Brand Ambassador Matt Klette will taste us through four expressions of this deliciously spicy, cocktail-friendly whiskey.
