For the first half of the summer, Hudson|Linc presents a group show, “From the Desert,” at the Design Lab at Pacific Design Center.
Joshua Tree, the Salton Sea and the Bonneville Salt Flats are several of the desert settings viewers will recognize in this group show celebrating the western landscape’s dry inland expanses. With sonic cacti by Adrienne Adar, cartoon desert misadventures by Anthony Ausgang, photography by William Berry, salvaged metal sculpture by David Buckingham, pop-folk paintings by Gavin Bunner and many more, expect to see the many roles the desert can play, including barren wasteland, trash dump, and inspiring center of life.
The show opens with a reception on May 16, 2013 from 5-8:30pm and hangs through July 31.
