“Affordable Care,” Flaunt Magazine‘s foray into Miami fairdom highlights the mag’s upcoming art-foused The Care Issue: Mixed Feelings.

Flaunt’s curated exhibition “Affordable Care,” at Mana Wynwood explores the these two subjective words—”affordability” and “care”—a pairing that is timely and topical.

On exhibit will be work from artists Ben Jones, Melanie Pullen, David LaChapelle, Rob Montgomery, Petra Cortright, Vance Lorenzini, Yung Jake, and Jeanette Hayes, with a special pavilion presented by Opus Reps, which will feature work from Mary Ellen Mark, Bert Stern, Hunter and Gatti, and Paul Solomons.

Plus Ron English will be live painting his version of Picassos’s Guernica, which is not to be missed!

The art sounds wonderful, but since Miami Art Weeks is also about parties, it’s only to fair to tell you that the Vanessa Beecroft art performance in collaboration with Kanye West opening event  at Mana Wynwood is private, super private. (Beecroft will debut a performance piece  featuring her  choreography of models in interplay with clay, amidst Beecroft sculptures. ) However, you can buy tickets to the other evening events ($20-$40 depending on the event). Boy George makes his US stage return on Friday.

“Affordable Care” is open to the public December 5 through 7, from 11am to 6pm. Other Mana Wynwood events throughout the weekend.
