There’s something seminally modern about Palm Springs. The architecture alone is enough to drive hordes of tourists into the city on a daily basis, so it makes sense that the annual festival celebrating modernism would take place in Indio’s desert oasis. A highlight of this event will be LAB ART, the collaboration of two art hubs – Gallery 446 of Palm Springs and LAB ART of Los Angeles – to showcase hand picked contemporary and street art themed work from fifteen different artists.
The opening reception takes place at Gallery 446 on Saturday February 15 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and the afterparty goes from 10 p.m. to 1 p.m. at 622 North Palm Canyon Drive. These are not to be missed. The exhibition runs until March 15.
