Cartwheel Art Tour, founder Cindy Schwarzstein, will enthusiastically guide participants, while offering her “insider” knowledge through, the art and history of what was once a gritty section filled with disused warehouses, train tracks and manufacturing plants by the L.A. River, to what is now rapidly becoming the hippest and most vibrant and dynamic art-centric part of Los Angeles, the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District, where Cartwheel Art is based.

Cindy will be joined by Steve Grody, Author of Graffiti LA, and NUKE, artist and member of the UTI Crew, as this weeks speakers who, are deeply connected to the art and history of the DTLA Los Angeles Arts District.

In addition, Keith Ely of Angel City Brewery, will be providing a behind the scenes tour of the original Roebling’s Sons Company of California Building – where ‘wire rope’ and other steel products were manufactured for prodcuts that ranged from the Suspension cables of the Brooklyn Bridge to the Steel for the Slinky Toy – that now houses ACB, and their beer is brewed. Keith will also be offering a tasting of three of their flagship beers as our tour sponsor.

Proceeds from the tour price benefit Art Share L.A., the non-profit art group in the DTLA Art District that is the beneficiary for these tours created wth Angel City Brewery as our sponsor.
