Raven Servellon‘s solo show at Downtown/Chinatown‘s Coagula Curatorial gallery, “The Floating World,” will showcase the self-taught artist’s use of various inks and paints on heavy watercolor paper. In this exhibition, she explores the relationship between the organic and mechanical and all of its offspring. Raven’s playful work has been featured in LA Weekly, American Contemporary Art and Meuse Magazine. “The Floating World” opens with a reception on June 15, 2013 from 7 to 11pm and will be on view through July 20.
