Hosted by Henry Rollins, the “ROCK/FIGHT”  exhibition showcases music, boxing and wrestling  photos. The images are historic; their subjects iconic. Vintage sporting-event photography by Theo Ehret is juxtaposed with the  punk rock photos of Edward Colver,  Henry Diltz, Janette Beckman and a dozen other giants of the punk-era lens. And in the center ring: The legendary Olympic Auditorium, home to boxing, wrestling, rollerderby and as the times changed, punk rock. A must see for anyone interested in sports, music and Los Angeles history. The show, at PROJECT Gallery Sept. 12-Oct. 5, 2013, is presented in partnership with Morrison Hotel Gallery. Project Gallery is open daily from 11am-7pm. Special closing event October 5.
