What a bunch of debutants! “Two Johns and a Whore” marks the gallery debuts of award-winning performance artist John Fleck and filmmaker John Roecker, and the curatorial debut of (full disclosure) CARTWHEELart.com’s editor Lisa Derrick (she co-curated a one night pop-up show with Wini Brewer at Coagula earlier this year).

That takes care of the Two Johns. And now about the “whore.” Curatrix Derrick has a group of artists exploring the theme of prostitution: Anthony Ausgang, Kelly Blunt, Sheila Cameron, Jane Cantillon, Stacy Lande, Louie Metz, Rafael Reyes, Bradford J Salaman, Oriana Small (aka Ashley Blue), Kelly Thompson, Mike Street, and Mimi Universe.

Opening January 11, “Two Johns and Whore” runs through January 25 at Coagula Curatorial where they also sell fine wine and craft beer for carry out from the backroom of Mr. Ling’s Market.
