L.A. Zine Fest workshop with CAFAM and Folk Art Everywhere
This Saturday’s free workshop with CAFAM and Folk Art Everywhere is rapidly approaching ! The October 6th workshop will give participants a brief zine history primer; instruction on folding an eight-page, no-glue-needed zine; and finish up with time for attendees to create their own themed zine based on a mixture of Dia De Los Muertos altars and perzines (personal zines, like a journal or a mini-memoir).
For a more full description of the workshop, visit LAZineFest.com. Also, visit CAFAM’s latest exhibit, LA Skin & Ink, check out Cartwheel’s coverage here.
Because this is a free workshop and all supplies are provided, those interested in attending are asked to please RSVP to the Craft and Folk Art Museum at rsvp@cafam.org.
