It’s Second Thursday DTLA Art Walk Plus Angel City Brewery “Artists On Tap”

The second Thursday of the month brings the Downtown Art Walk –a great experience with people from all over the area, strolling, visiting galleries, shops, restaurants, and bars. Some things to check out: Una is performing at Machine Inspired Art and the Art Walk Lounge provides a place to chill, with Fiji Water, a DJ, surprises from WSS shoes, and community groups. Got a craving for bacon-wrapped matzo balls? The Gorbals, in the basement of the Alexandria Hotel can help you out there!  Looking for lighter fare? Consider Blossom Restaurant for Vietnamese, with vegan and vegetarian options. Norbertellen Gallery will thrill J-Pop fans with their Kimono Rock N Roll show, featuring Japanese-styled illustration inspired  by anime, manga, and games from Japan, filled with groundbreaking artwork, 70 works by 49 Japanese popular artists. And don’t forget that MOCA Grand is free from 5pm to 8pm every Thursday, a perfect time to check out Urs Fischer!

Plus this Thursday, the Downtown Los Angeles Art District has special event:  Angel City Brewery, which brings the art and craft of brewing to Downtown Los Angeles, kicks off their  “Artists on Tap” series with a group show featuring large works inspired by beer from fourteen artists, plus a live performance by the oh so rocking punk rock bluesman Lightnin’ Woodcock.
