CARTWHEEL’s on Field Trip!

What a wonderful birthday present! CARTWHEEL is a year old and we’ve just gotten one of the best presents ever–one that will allow us to give back to our readers!

We’re now part of Field Trip,  a new app from Google that provides the insider information on the cool, hidden, hip and happening things in the world around us. And they’ve partnered with us here at CARTWHEEL  to bring art closer to you.  Whether it’s galleries, museums, a cool art supply shop, a coffee shop showing emerging artists or  museum-worthy work, CARTWHEEL on Field Trip will signal you when you’re nearby.

Just download the free Field Trip app to your smart phone and select the feeds that suit you. The app runs in the background and alerts you when you are close to a hot spot of interest.

We’re excited to be joining other Field Trip partners like Zagat, Eater, Thrillist, CoolHunting, Flavorpill and  Sunset in providing content to FieldTrip. Pretty cool for a website that’s just a year old!
