Photos: Brewery Art Walk Preview
The Brewery Art Walk, April 26 and 27, gives Southern Californians an opportunity to visit the studios of historic Brewery Arts buildings. The former Pabst Brewery is the largest art colony in the world, with artists living and working in the huge complex that became a legal residence in 1982. For the Art Walk, more than100 resident artists open the doors to their studios and live/work spaces, hanging out with visitors, discussing their work, and giving visitors an up close and personal look at their lives. It’s intimate, exciting, exploratory, full of discovery and wonder.
Here’s a look at some the artists. We’ll be posting more on our Facebook page leading up the Brewery Art walk, and on FB and Instagram (@cartwheel_art) during the Art Walk itself.
The brewery Art runs from 11am to 6pm April 26 and 27. Free parking at UPS lot on Moulton Ave (see map). Food trucks and beer garden on hand.
