Each artist created 5 originals for the series and has only been seen on HINT MINT tins, will be showcased along with Metal Prints emulating the Tin boxes themselves, in all its glory-as original, one-of-a kind paintings, as well as limited edition metal prints. The exhibit will also offer a mint tasting bar— where you can discover that HINT MINT develops its mints as diligently as its tin designs (tastings will be in limited quantities on a first come first serve basis), including flavors that have never been tasted by the public before.
Cooper Bates, VP and co-founder of HINT MINT stated, “Since selling our first tin of HINT MINTS in April 2000, art has played a significant role in our brand. HINT MINT is dedicated to making simple objects beautiful. 13 years ago, when we created our HINT MINT Limited edition Artist Series, our desire was to bring art to an ordinary product. On April 24-27, we’ll showcase the five original works of art commissioned for each series and many of the great artists that have been part of this series since its inception. We’ve always numbered each limited edition tin. For the first time, everyone can see the original 70 pieces including the original sketches and canvases, displayed on iam8bit’s walls”.
