Sickid Paints a New Mural at the American Hotel in the Arts District
CARTWHEEL has a right place, right time, serendipitous, stumbled-upon set of photos showing local wheat-paste artist Sickid as he paints a mural on the brick-side of The American Hotel in the Arts District.
Sickid’s street art is all over Los Angeles. He’s known for his iconic print of the grimacing bug-eyed fellow in a baseball cap, as seen above.
The hand-painted mural is on Hewitt between Traction and 3rd street, across the street from Artshare.
The final product, as scoped out after the paint dried, is a double rainbow dragon.
