Street Artist “Random Act” Beautifies New Electrical Box on 7th and Spring, Downtown
Los Angeles street artist Random Act adds some floral color to the electrical box located on 7th and Spring street in Downtown Los Angeles. Shown below are photos of her painting and some of the final work. The utility box initiative was championed by City Council Jose Huizar (14th District) who was also champion of the Los Angeles City Mural Ordinance. Tanner Blackman form the councilmember’s office has been instrumental in developing arts plans for the district and encouraging public art throughout the city
Random Act’s flowers are ubiquitous to the walls of Los Angeles. One of her more well-known earlier pieces was adjacent to the Target on La Brea and Santa Monica in Hollywood. But her signature flowers can be found all over.
