Save the Date: July 3 “Safari” at Lot 613
On July 3, ripened bananas adorned with emerald leaves will sprout up in the urban Arts District when Swedish-born-turned-LA resident artist Miryam Lumpini presents “Safari” in collaboration with Production Club.
Tattoo artist and painter Lumpini had always dreamed of producing her very own art show where she could create and produce the whole concept. And the City of Angels has a way of making of dreams come true! Lumpini settled in the Arts District after years of traveling tattoo conventions around the world (she began her apprenticeship at 17), and works as a freelance tattooist, registered with the County of Los Angeles, as well as well painting her dreamscape canvases.
Lumpini’s new art work and the first round of limited edition prints will be available along with food, drinks, and a mysterious banana bar. Jen Lasher along with Fei Fei will be in the DJ set put together to compliment the art vibes. The exhibition will be Thursday July 3, 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. at Lot 613 in the LA Arts District.
