MUST SEE! La Bulla, April 11, Plaza de la Raza
Not to be missed! This Saturday, April 11, Plaza de la Raza celebrates La Lucha and Mexican culture as translated and transplanted to Los Angeles! This one-of-kind spectacular event–art show, bands, and of course live wrestling–is in collaboration with the American Diabetes Awareness-LA division to promote diabetes awareness, and promises a night of over top outrageous entertainment.
La Bulla adopts a night-time, outdoor, interactive art gallery format with live performances by some of today’s hottest Latin alternative bands including La Resistencia, El Sonido Callejero, Profesor Galactico and Kotolan. This extraordinary event will also include vendors, crafters and live Lucha libre.
Lucha libre is a both from an old school tradition and heading into new unchartered waters. La Bulla is the bridge that connects two worlds. And the artists in La Bulla are the creative architects that help build that bridge and strengthen the bonds between Mexico and America.
In Lucha libre there are no borders, boundaries or limits in the ring. In La Bulla there are no borders, boundaries or limits on the canvas. Lucha libre and La Bulla, the vibrant history makers and the visual historians, combining forces and joining talents to create an artistic tradition of both excellence and entertainment.
This mega-event is a MUST DO! MUST SEE! MUST EXPERIENCE! It’s also 21 and over, so leave the kids at home! (Free parking across the street from Plaza de la Raza in the DMV parking lot)
