Save the Date: “Yare: One More Dance” by Cristobal Valecillos, a PST LA/LA Exhibition – Saturday October 21st
One of the most exciting exhibitions for PST LA/LA will be Cristobal Valecillos “Yare: One More Dance” at Timothy Yarger Fine Art, that opens’s this weekend.
Cristobal Valecillos will be invoking the annual Los Diablos de Yare festival of his home country of Venezuela by creating a stunning collection of eight handcrafted masks, for his new exhibition. Each unique mask was sculpted using repurposed materials while remaining faithful to the festival’s tradition.
The artist has also created a series of stunning photographs of the masks against a backdrop of iconic LA landmarks. These provocative and compelling images incorporate the joys and challenges of the contemporary human spirit.

Don’t miss the opening Saturday October 21st, which will include a live performance of the traditional Los Diablos de Yare dance. This event will occur in the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District (NOT in Beverly Hills). RSVP required. Limited space/one night only.
The exhibition will continue October 23rd – November 30th at Timothy Yarger Fine Art in Beverly Hills.
