PREVIEW & SAVE THE DATE! “Winter Dream” a Pop Up Group Exhibition Presented by Obscura House at Nous Tous Gallery – December 15th & 16th (7-11pm)
The art collective Obscure House will open their inaugural exhibition, Winter Dream, at Nous Tous Gallery this weekend, on December 15-16 from 7-11 p.m. Using symbols of the winter season, the pop-up group show brings together work from L.A. artists as they process events of the last year and prepare for renewal in the next.
The inside of the gallery will be transformed into Obscure House’s rendition of winter in Los Angeles.
Winter Dream will explore themes of stagnation, reflection, the necessity for growth, and weather through paintings, prints, and photos from emerging and established artists. Obscure House will debut an interactive installation constructed inside. The team is creating a snow encased cabin out of reclaimed materials. Within the structure visitors will meet an oracle that will read tarot cards and offer insight into the next phase of life.
The artwork will be priced under $500, perfect for the holidays!
There will be winter themed cocktails and light bites, provided by Jagermeister.
