SAVE THE DATE: Art Los Angeles Contemporary Show January 25th-28th at The Barker Hangar

Posted by

Featuring both established and young galleries from around the world Art Los Angeles Contemporary will help solidify Los Angeles as a world-class art city. Exhibitors for the 9th year of the fair, include galleries from Hong Kong, Seoul, Paris, Montreal, Buenos Aires, Moscow, London, Auckland, Berlin, Bogota and of course New York, lining up alongside a high number of local and west coast galleries, ensuring a wide diversity of art in all mediums.

In addition to the upscale high-end art we have come to expect from this fair, there will be some new attractions destined to entertain and enthrall even the most jaded of art fair attendees.

On Opening Day, don’t miss Jesse Fleming’s techno –voyage video “ Jane the Baptist”, which takes the viewer “through the birth canals of modern automated car washes within Los Angeles County. The view is myopic, brutal, and candy lush…”

Scheduled panels include talks on the upcoming bi-annual art show Desert X 2019 in the Coachella Valley, an artist talk led by Naima J. Keith, Deputy Director and Chief Curator at the California African American Museum in Los Angeles, a screening and conversation featuring NY filmmaker Ben Fain, and multiple performance art pieces. There will even be a workshop area hosted by Coachart, for budding artists age 5 to 15 to create something special.
