SAVE THE DATE: “Movement + Narrative” at sp(a)ce gallery in Pasadena – Sunday, February 4th
sp[a]ce gallery at Ayzenberg in Pasadena presents a large group exhibition entitled “Movement + Narrative,” opening this weekend in honor of Greg Escalante. The exhibit, originally scheduled to be held at the Gregorio Escalante Gallery, has been expanded in its new location to include more artists. Exploring the interconnectedness of movement and narrative, curator F. Scott Hess explains his concept:
“The works in this exhibition promote interwoven themes of movement and narrative, with perceptions of the former creating the latter. Each piece carries a distinct visual identity that, when placed all together, inspire an empathetic response in the viewer, enhancing the overall aesthetic experience.”
The exhibit includes work by Alla Bartoshchuk, Carl Dobsky, John Griswold, Kenny Harris, Andrew Hem, Cody Jimenez, Julio Labra, Dana Christine Lewis, Perin Mahler, Serena Potter, Cynthia Sitton, Timothy Robert Smith, Sarah Stieber, and Peter Zokosky.
