The show opens with a party on Aug. 17 from 6 to 9pm, and will be on view through the end of the month.
The extensive list of artists, who have each modified a two-foot wood coffin, include D*Face, Brennan Coyle, Duffy, Michael Hsiung, Steve Caballero, Jason Webber, Scott Hove, Jamie Lynn, Valient Himself, Matjames Metson, Corey Smith, Ben Brough, Robert “Sticky” Shaw, Dennis McNett, Adam Wallacavage, Nick Simich, and many, many more.
The artist roster includes world renowned painters, illustrators, graphic designers, motorcycle builders, tattoo artists, assemblage masters and print makers.
We are a small space filled with coffins so come EARLY.

“Boxes of Death 4” has shown in Seattle, San Francisco and Portland, Ore. When the concept came to life four years ago at Electric Coffin‘s Seattle workshop, it was an idea from Kane Quaye, a famous coffin maker from Africa, whose philosophy was that a coffin should not just be a pine box, but something that represents the person inside and their life.
