How well do you know L.A.?
How well do you know how to use the Field Trip app on your phone?
Prove it on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 at Field Trip Day Los Angeles.
Like a modern day treasure hunt, the one-day event requires walking shoes, water, sunblock and a lovely afternoon, plus an iPhone or Android with the free Field Trip. Learn the sorts of things about L.A.’s neighborhood “Old Town Pasadena” that you’d get from a guided tour (“from rocket launches to peanut butter soda”), but better — you’re on your own. Plus, when you make it to the afterparty at the historic Castle Green you’ll be rewarded with gifts and entertainment in the form of music, magic, drinks, and clowns.
The event begins at 3pm at Mercantile Alleyway between Fair Oaks Ave. and Raymond Ave. Look for Lucky Baldwin’s British Pub.
If you’re new to Field Trip, allow yourself to be impressed by how much information is contained within this app — including art news from CARTWHEEL Art!

Field Trip Day also takes place in Brooklyn, Seattle and London.
Tickets are free and can be reserved here.
