Pierre Picot, who frequently calls himself a Conceptual Folk artist, will be showing a selection of recent large ink on paper drawings of nature “ecstatic and unbound.” In addition, he will be presenting a spirited and boisterous, lively, snappy, dashing, irreverent, zesty, non-issue oriented new group of paintings just completed in France for this show. (Picot and his wife, designer/artist Wendy Holden moved to Bretagne last year after decades of living in Los Angeles.) The show, at the Mike Kelly Gallery at Beyond Baroque, opens with an artist reception on Sunday, April 21 from 2pm-6pm and the show will run through May 9th, 2013
