Ramsey Chahine has a fan in CARTWHEEL, we’ve covered his work before for good reason. Quite simply, he is very talented. He prolifically paints vibrant pieces with animal and human themes. These are large works with bold strokes and abstract elements, and collectors are interested.
Chahine’s The Poison is the Cure is on view at the Inside/Outside Gallery, located within the Levantine Cultural Center in West Los Angeles. His playful pieces, ripe with symbolism and archetypes, are part of the ongoing theme of work shown at the gallery, pieces that break the media misrepresentation of art and artists from the middle east.
While the opening reception is on Sat. Feb 1 from 7-11 pm, the show will be open for regular museum hours until March 15.
