If your Thursday nights have been lacking of late, fear not! Billy’s Fish Fry and Community Social returns to La Luz de Jesus this month on February 21. What’s the Fish Fry? Well golly, you can read all about it here in the CARTWHEEL interview with Fish Fry co-founder Seth Miller. But the best way to learn about the Fish Fry is attend a Fish Fry, held on the last Thursday of month at La Luz de Jesus (and it’s a great way to see the current art exhibition on its last night).

This month’s diverse multi-media mixed-bag variety show of music, spoken word, unusual performances hosted by Blaine Capatch & comedian Greg Behrendt (author of He’s Just Not That Into You) include The Woolly Bandits, The Magnificent, Michael Rozon & Friends, a special appearance by Johnny Indovina, live painting by a to-be-announced artist, and an electric set by a group of punk rock legends, whose identities are yet to be revealed.

It’s free, it’s all ages, you can park at the Dresden, or across the street at the Chase Bank pay lot next to Yuca’s (just be careful crossing the street–you don’t want frequent gallery visitor Angelyne in her pink Corvette!)
