Known Gallery presents “Temple of Wolfbat,” an installation, collection and retrospective of Dennis McNett’s work, sponsored by Vans. Sculpture, leather etching, collage painting, and wood carving all play roles in the Temple, as Brooklyn-based McNett enfolds his animalistic storytelling journey, based in part on the Norse myth of Fenris wolf, and according Known Gallery’s press release:

The Wolfbat is a conjurer and conqueror. The Wolfbat is reflective and meditative. The Wolfbat is the soul of featured artist Dennis McNett.

The opening reception is November 16, 2013, 8pm to 11pm. The show runs November 16 thorugh 30, 2013, and regular gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday, noon to 7pm and Sunday noon – 6pm.
