It’s been eight long years since the highly respected and acclaimed graffiti artist SEEN has shown solo in the United States, and now he’s back–and in Los Angeles at Fabien Castanier with an exhibition that run through March 24, 2013.  This solo exhibition marks SEEN’s return from France where he has lived since 2007. His stint in Paris allowed SEEN to further refine his lettering and to experiment with new forms exciting new paintings that are a distinct stylistic break from the graffiti work for which he has become known.  Those familiar with SEEN’s work will find this new series signifies his evolution as an artist. However, in true graffiti fashion, every piece is created with spray paint using various techniques that demonstrate the versatility of the spray can.

SEEN will be at the opening on February 23 form 7pm to 10pm, and a catalog will be available. Street art fans–line up early and bring your black books. This is hige.
