The Karma Underground Closing Party
The Tibet House U.S. is the beneficiary of this series, which features the work of some of Los Angeles' most interesting artists working today. The works are available with the distinction of being part of The Karma Underground's once-a-year benefit. “Balance”: Ben Brough and Katherine Langlands Opening at AR4T Gallery
To introduce its new gallery location, which is about five minutes from its original location in Laguna Beach, AR4T Gallery presents "Balance," a duo show by Ben Brough and Katherine Langlands. A one-night-only anti-gallery group show will be held during Santa Ana Artwalk on Sept. 7, 2013, from 6 to 11pm. Using 4,500 square feet of blank building-as-canvas, a group of 20 regional artists have assembled to contribute murals, installations and fine art in this historic downtown spot next to the Yost Theater. "So the Echo" is a new art book by Brandon Boyd. The visual artist and musician will be holding a signing of the new book at Bookmarc in West Hollywood on Weds., Sept. 18, 2013 from 5 to 8pm. The book is Boyd's third art book, a collection of the last five years' progress in his art. It is a 156-page hardcover volume that retails for $49.99. Included are journal entries, sketches, watercolor, and personal photos.
