Thomas Campbell and Element Join Forces on New Collection

Thomas Campbell, artist and star of the documentary Beautiful Losers, has teamed up with the clothing brand Element to put together a new collection of shirts, board shorts, and skateboards. All of the products utilize a quilt collage sewn by Campbell, which was on display at the company’s booth at The AGENDA Show in Long Beach. When you first see the shirt it looks as though a physical version of the quilt has been sewn onto it because you can see the extreme details of all the fringes. However, if you actually reach out to touch it, you realize it’s just an illusion, which is pretty awesome! The collaboration is also fitting because Campbell is one of the rare artists who in addition to having shows at major galleries has also still retained close ties to the action sports industries, even including the direction of a handful of surfing films.
