Miami Project Recap: First Year Art Fair With Staying Power

When Miami Project, a brand new art fair, took place Dec. 4-9, 2012 in Miami Beach, art collectors were able to get an up close view of some of the world’s most exciting galleries. Below, our photo highlights.

About Miami Project:

The inaugural Miami Project, a new contemporary and modern art fair debuted December 4-9, 2012 in Miami’s Midtown / Wynwood Art District. Miami Project will consist of presentations by 65 galleries from around the world selected based on the strength and relevance of their programs. This year’s show will be housed in a comfortable and centrally located modular structure located at NE 1st Avenue & NE 29th Street.

In a custom interactive art performance in an on-site art studio at Coagula titled SEXT ME IF YOU CAN, Karen Finley painted images that fair-goers had sexted to her.
