Revolution X, is a new artist collective, gallery, rental, work space and the headquarters for Xany Art Inc., with Stephane Simonneau and Xany Rudoff as Co-Owners and Directors along with Jimmy Sweet as Gallery Manager of the space, located at 4355 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.
Stephane, Xany and Jimmy, have plans to showcase emerging artists and talent including filmmakers, designers and artists of all mediums while offering them the opportunity to produce their own shows in addition, to being a catalyst “to EMPOWER themselves and work in UNITY while, creating a network of creative friends and talent that all work together and help each other out”.
Their current (and debut) show titled “Never Give UP” features the work of UK artist William Blanchard aka. Wildcat WIll.
Cartwheel Art had the privilege of checking out the new space and spending time with Wildcat Will and Revolution X’s owner, proprietor and artist of Xany Art Inc., Xany Rudoff before the shows opening. While tonight is the closing night party and one of the last days to see the show, it is going to be a really special opportunity to be a part of Revolution X as Jimmy Sweet, Gallery Manager has curated a Punk Rock Poetry Reading featuring live performances by Anthony Ausgang, Ruth Nolan, Chauncey Brambach, and Jessica Ceballos along with DJ Jerry Nolan!
