ArtExpoSD: Panel Discussion June 26
The brand new ArtExpo San Diego debuts next month, July 24 to 26, during ComiCon and Gam3rCon, giving Con-goers and locals the opportunity to see some of the best in art, DYI, printmakers and related creators in a free and art-centric environment. Plus–shameless self promotion: Cartwheel Art is bringing Keith Dugas aka KrossD; Intellectual Property Prints, the super smart and cute company founded by Daniel Rolnik and Ryan McIntosh; and curations by Dahlia Jane and Lisa Derrick, featuring an exciting selection of contemporary surrealism and Dark Progressivism.
As a lead-in to ArtExpo SD–which is getting the mega welcoming treatment with citywide media promotion–ArtExpo SD presents a lively panel discussion and salon about the DIY projects of John Purlia, Nicole Waszak and Tim Mantoani on June 26 from 5:30 to 8:30pm.
ArtExpo is created by students of The Media Design School of Digital Arts at the NewSchool of Architecture under the direction of artist and designer Mark Murphy.
There is still space available for ArtExpo SD–it’s a great opportunity for artists to gain exposure. For details, email Mark, murphy@murphydesign.com.
