Canadian Artists! Your Art in a Mobile Music Video for Fido
Canadian artists–what do you love about your hometown? Your province? Your country? This summer Fido, the Canadian mobile phone provider, wants you to celebrate Canada with them and join in pushing Canadian culture forward.
To make this happen, Fido has teamed up with with award-winning director Vania Heymann to create the first-ever interactive mobile music video which will feature a different viewing experience wherever you watch it. The experience will feature an original track from indie Canadian electronic trio, Keys N Krates.
Fido is asking Canadian artists and innovators to submit up to 10 photographs or pieces of artwork that pique curiosity and display the greatest things about their community as part of the #GetCurious campaign: Cityscapes, landscapes, nightlife vignettes, food, art, those things you love about your community, that inspire you. Be a part of this groundbreaking collaboration, submit your original work, and show everyone what’s up in your Canada.
This opportunity is open to residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence. Proof of residency and age may be required.
Deadline for submission is May 15, 2015.

- Selected Artists will have their work featured in the first-ever interactive location-based mobile music video, directed by Vania Heymann.
- The mobile music video will premiere at Bestival on June 12, 2015. Selected Artists’ work will be credited on the site and remain immortalized as a part of this nation-wide project.
- Selected Artists may potentially collaborate with Fido on other separate paid projects under separate agreements.
