SAVE THE DATE: RLFKE / Donna Bates / Corbin Lundborg / Em Wafer at Gabba Gallery – Saturday February 10th
Gabba Gallery presents 4 new installations by artists RLFKE, Donna Bates, Corbin Lundborg, and Em Wafer. Each presentation is a separate and solo statement by artists with very different backgrounds, creating a unique and diverse exhibition that includes both locals and international artists.
About the Artists:
RLFKE brings his first solo show in the US to Gabba Gallery. Entitled Scoop, this Toronto native who prefers anonymity has a distinct street style that is bold and colorfully dynamic.
Native Californian Donna Bates is featuring her signature strong women ( or bad-ass chicks as she likes to call them ) in a new series called “War Paint and Curlers,” which topically addresses women’s rights and their struggles in society.
Corban Lundborg lives in two worlds and addresses his experience in his show entitled ”Half and Half,” as he strives to balance a creative Hollywood career while also being part of a military combat camera squadron in Charleston, South Carolina.
The final artist, New Zealand painter Em Wafer is back again with a new series titled “Reality Shift,” with work that does indeed take one to a fantasy world of beaches and bubbles, palm trees and glorious sunsets.
