SAVE THE DATE: Opening Reception for Vitality and Verve III at Long Beach Museum of Art – Friday June 29
As part of POW! WOW! Long Beach, the Culver City art gallery Thinkspace is presenting Vitality and Verve III at the Long Beach Museum of Art. Vitality and Verve III features new, site-specific works by Bordalo II, CASE, Evoca, Sergio Garcia, Herakut, Hush, Jaune, Leon Keer, Koz Dos, Spenser Little, Fintan Magee, Dennis McNett, Drew Merritt, Michael Reeder, RISK, SEEN, Amy Sol, Super A, Juan Travieso, Dan Witz and Lauren YS.
Bordalo II’s ‘Plastic Seal,’ above, is set to permanently reside in front of the LBMA. It is made entirely out of recycled plastic including old car parts, broken toys, trash bins, lawn furniture, and hoses. The opening reception for Verve and Vitality III is Friday, June 29, from 7 pm to 10 pm. Tickets are $15, or free for Long Beach Museum of Art members.
