This Sunday, March 17, join us for the first Open House on 7th Street! From noon to 6pm, many businesses and organizations located on (or near) 7th Street in the DTLA Arts District will be holding special events and offering discounts. Check the list below for details. Cartwheel Art and ICALA organized the Open House to encourage people to experience what this area of the Arts District has to offer.

Cartwheel Art’s Graffiti & BBQ Tour
Meet at Pearl’s BBQ: 2010 E. 7th Street, 90021
From 2-5pm, join graffiti historian Steve Grody on a walk through DTLA alleys and a genuine graffiti “yard” where walls are decorated with graffiti and street art. Also, meet Joseph “Nuke” Montalvo, a graffiti writer with the UTI Crew, who will talk about a mural production by his crew. Get tickets on Eventbrite.
Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (ICA LA)

From 3-6pm, ICA LA will celebrate the opening of three Spring exhibitions with a special artist talk with Patty Chang, and a DJ, food truck, and drinks in the courtyard. FREE.
