SAVE THE DATE: Summer on 7th, Inner-City Arts’ Rooftop Benefit Concert and Party – Saturday, June 8, 2019
There’s something amazing about rooftop parties, and Inner-City Arts knows how to throw a good one. Case in point: Summer on 7th 2019, a benefit event on Saturday, June 8, that includes performances by Best Coast and Shannon and the Clams, and a special 45s B2B set with J.Rocc + Peanut Butter Wolf.
Several visual artists will have their work on display at the event, including Dana Carly Eitches, Kelcey Fisher (KFiSH), Maria Greenshields-Ziman, Davia King, Ry Rocklen, Debra Scacco, Lisa Schulte, and Ralph Ziman, among others. Five of the featured artists—Fisher, Greenshields-Ziman, King, Schulte, and Ziman—worked with Cartwheel as part of Art At The Rendon’s Hidden Rooms event last summer.
Summer on 7th will also have plenty of food and drinks available from local vendors (Cassell’s Hamburgers, Chinese Laundry, Guerrilla Tacos, Pizzanista, Plant Food for People, Manuela, Arts District Wine, Everson Royce Bar, and more). Treat yourself, and relax on Inner-City Arts DTLA rooftop.

“Every year, I look forward to Summer on 7th,” said Geoffrey Anenberg, Summer on 7th committee co-chair and Inner-City Arts board member. “I love getting to experience this beautiful campus and learning oasis being transformed into an amazing event space. For one night, over a thousand people from across Los Angeles come together to have fun in support of a future where our city’s youth are empowered through art.”
