Ron English began work on Urban Bigfoot the first legal work to begin under the new Los Angeles Mural Ordinance. You can see it at Imperial and Jesse, Los Angeles, CA. 90021 in the Downtown LA Arts district, across from Urban Radish. (The actual building address is 667 Santa Fe).

Los Angeles-based street artist Vyal, known for his natural, unforced creative flow with spray cans, was there to assist Ron English on the 140 foot x 45 foot mural, which was facilitated by LA Freewalls’ Daniel Lahoda and sponsored by Juxtapoz  Magazine and Converse. Vyal’s  can work is the perfect compliment to Ron’s surreal pop and consumer culture commentary.

Since Cartwheel’s offices are just around the corner, we’re able to snap shots of the art as it evolves and post up more images here at CARTWHEELart.com and on our Facebook page.  You’ll be able to see Ron and Vyal at work through October 31.
